Robert "Dr. Bob" Deutsch
“Advertising, if done artfully, IS brain surgery: It can cure people of the status quo.”
Dr. Bob Deutsch is a cognitive anthropologist who has worked in the primeval forest studying pre-literate tribes, as well as being employed on Pennsylvania Ave. and Madison Ave. As Dr. Bob likes to say, in those U.S. East Coast locales he also studies “primitive societies.”
Dr. Bob’s consulting practice focuses on helping clients understand how leaders and leading ideas take hold in a culture and how such notions make use of an understanding of human nature and the nature of the mind to produce successful branding strategies.
He has advised many CEOs on assessing the public mind and how to create related marketing plans. He has consulted with the U.S. Departments of State and Defense on how to make and support better decisions and decision-makers.
Dr. Bob has worked with one Nobel Prize Winner: Konrad Lorenz.
